Break out those champagne bottles, folks, it's the one year anniversary of this here blog. Actually, it also happens to be the 229th birthday of the U.S. of A. so I understand if you don't spend the day celebrating my little milestone. I entered into this project, in part, because I felt an obligation to all of the generous and enthusiastic readers of the sadly-gone magazine incarnation of Comic Book Heaven. How and when CBH returns to print and in what form remains up-in-the-air for now but I'll be back tomorrow and most days after that to continue to share (exploit?) goofy stuff from comic books, America's latest pop culture "It Girl," (and whatever else I may want to go on about) here at Comic Book Heaven. Thank you to everyone who visits (especially you regulars) and many thanks to everyone who has been kind enough to link to this site. It is all much appreciated.
Oh, by the way, the somewhat unfortunately constructed comic book panel reproduced above is from The Adventures of Jerry Lewis #68 (Jan-Feb 1962).
